Rainbow Media is the umbrella company overseeing AMC, We, IFC, Sundance Channel and VOOM. Since December, 2003, Main Event has been working with the support group for Josh Sapan, CEO of Rainbow, to elevate the quality of events and promote their "moving entertainment forward" theme. Highlights include a reception at CTAM, several holiday dinners for the CEO's direct reports, and a celebration of AMC's 8 Emmy's in 2008.

Costumed wait staff served martinis and Emmy cupcakes (Chocolate, Vanilla, and even Red Velvet were available) on the MadMen side of the Rainbow Emmy Party, October, 2009.
Décor on the "Breaking Bad" side of the Rainbow Media Emmy party included rock candy in beakers and flasks with colored liquids and dry ice, served by waiters in aprons and goggles (the better for concocting crystal meth!) October, 2009.
Rainbow Media invited their entire staff for some bubbly and cupcakes to celebrate AMC's eight Emmy® awards (for MadMen and Breaking Bad). In addition to ordering three different flavors of Emmy® - embossed cupcakes (600 total), Main Event coordinated load-in of décor with the building, as well as cases of iced champagne, wait staff, red carpet, etc. September, 2008.
When Rainbow Media restructured and moved many of their offices from Jericho to Manhattan, the CEO asked ME to create a welcoming atmosphere in their offices for 400 guests. We coordinated four different menus and décor themes for the Welcome to Rainbow 10001 Event at their offices, from health-conscious for the We brand to "movie food for movie lovers" for the AMC brand. Each area, whether a common area or conference room, reflected the look and feel of the brand, from lava lamps and tablecloths, to colorful wineglasses and branded cocktail napkins. ME also consulted on the raffle (including design of ticket, prizes and Ambassadors for each party venue) and signage. February, 2008.
